What are green beans anyway?
Coffee beans are the pit of a fruit called a cherry. Beneath layers of fruit, sugar and parchment, the coffee bean is revealed after weeks of processing. These beans, naturally a green color, develop a brown hue during the roasting process. So, to answer the question, green beans are coffee beans that have yet to be roasted.
This is only available in one pound bags. We are unable to ship our green beans in the state of Hawaii at this time. Maximum order of 10 pounds per order. The green beans you purchase are fresh from our current crop and are the same beans we use for our roasted coffees.
